Criticism
Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker's critic for Spain writes: "Quest 2016, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, was fully fermented in the 12th-century stone lagars with native yeasts, followed by 24 months in new barriques and five months in barrels, plus a further 12 months in the Bottle aging This wine is anything but rustic: it is harmonious, balanced and clean, with a blend of aromatic herbs and berries with a peppery and spicy note.On the palate it is medium to full bodied with very fine tannins and a great acidity, which provides a lively mouthfeel and a long, flavorful finish. 8,200 bottles and 120 magnums. Bottled in March 2019." |
