Wine Description

Aroma Complex, with floral notes of violet and rose petals and fruit aromas of wild berries, such as blueberries and currants. With increasing maturity, aromas of yeast (brioche) join in.
Color Old gold with reflections reminiscent of onion skins.
Palate The first impression is of a creamy texture and finely bubbly carbonation, which changes after a few moments to a fine persistent acidity.
Overall result A fresh, fruity and elegant cava with fine persistent acidity.
Match with ...all kinds of starters or snacks, with well-seasoned Asian or curry dishes. However, it can also be enjoyed on its own. At a temperature between 8 and 10 °C you will have unadulterated Cava drinking fun!

Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker's critic for Spain writes:

"The 2013 Argent Rose Gran Reserva Brut Nature is a rosé made from Pinot Noir. It was a cool and rainy, somewhat challenging year with good freshness. The wine matured in the bottle for 46 months before being disgorged and given a dosage of 5.7 grams of sugar. It is very pale and has faint notes of red berries and dried rose petals, mixed with some aromas of yeast and freshly baked bread. It is sharp on the palate, without the integration and complexity I found in the 2012 white Argent. 9,500 bottles produced. This wine has become paler in recent years and it is felt that the precision of the new press they bought has improved it in recent vintages, especially this 2013 vintage."
