Criticism

Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker's wine critic, writes:

"The NV Palo Cortado VORS from the 2,150 bottles bottled in 2016 (identified as L1/16 on the label) is now on average almost 40 years old, as Tradición purchased the Solera from Capuchino from Osborne and the blend since mine has aged almost ten years since the last tasting in 2013. This is a textbook Palo Cortado, with the creaminess that makes it so unique, with an incredible elegance and intensity, but also with an incredible balance and elegance. A wine world class.

I paid a long overdue visit to Bodegas Tradición in Jerez and tasted five sacas of their old, strong fino, aged under flor for over ten years."
