Wine Description

Aroma Floral aromas with red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry, forest fruits, also notes of pepper, clove, violet, cocoa and toasted notes.
Color Brilliant ruby ​​red with bluish reflections.
Palate An elegant, supple, silky and fresh wine with a great balance, very polished tannins and a long and persistent finish. Red fruits, liquorice and anise with an aftertaste of fresh cherry notes.
Overall result It's soft and smooth, with red berry fruits and a creamy quality.
Match with Sausage products, freshwater fish, game and mushroom dishes.

Criticism

Luis Gutiérrez wrote about the ancus:

"The bright red color of the 2019 Acusp reminded me of the aromas of some Pinot Noirs from Chile. It was named after the hill where the grapes come from, a vineyard planted in high density at 1,000 meters in 2003. Part of the Grapes were fermented in the 12th century stone pools (lagares) on the property, the rest in stainless steel, all with native yeasts.The wine was malolactic aged in oak barrels for 12 months.It has 13.21% alcohol, a pH of Value of 3.6 and 5.9 grams of acidity It is soft and smooth, with red berry fruit and a creamy quality.The palate is rather tart and austere, with a dry mouthfeel and plenty of fine-grained, chalky tannins.It is medium-bodied and has the great purity that characterizes the style of the house. 8,500 bottles and 150 magnums were produced. It was bottled in November 2020."
