Criticism

Luis Gutierréz the critic Robert Parkers wrote in 2019

"The 2017 Garmón was the first vintage to be fermented in the winery's own cellar. The wine went through malolactic fermentation and 18 months of ageing in barrique, but they have increased the proportion of barrels used. The fruit is very clean and a mix of red and black, and the tannins are soft, a little grainy, with integrated oak. Like many of the family's 2017 wines, it shows very well; they have done a good job in a very difficult year. 50,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in June 2019."
