Wine Description

Aroma Ripe, dark fruits, chocolate, tobacco and toasted notes.
Color Bright, intense crimson color.
Palate Great texture, exceptional purity of raspberry and currant fruit. Rich in tannins and with a lot of volume.
Overall result The wine has a long finish and a well-defined structure that harmonises perfectly with the tannins. A wine with a lot of elegance and a high aging potential.
Match with Good company. In our opinion, this wine should be enjoyed solo and in good company to give it the attention it deserves.

Criticism

Luis Gutierréz the critic Robert Parkers wrote in 2021:

"2015 was a very powerful year, a vintage full of focus and maturity. But the 2015 Reserva Especial was made with more Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) and aged in less new oak, and the wine has retained its balance. It combines ripe berries and Spices with sharp herbal aromas and flavor notes that provide freshness. It is round, juicy and powerful, full-bodied and with pungent aromas. The tannins are round and ripe and the finish is long and dry. 4,000 bottles were produced."
