The Micalet 2020 is a very special white wine, with an intense aroma of white and stone fruit. It is floral, complex and rich in nuances. It tastes fruity and dry at the same time, with good acidity and a long aftertaste.
Risotto, fish, chicken and seafood.
Approx. 750 m above sea level
Mediterranean-continental climate with cold nights due to the altitude and hot summer days tempered by a breeze from the sea.

Luis Gutierréz the critic Robert Parker writes:
"The 2020 Micalet comes from a near-perfect harvest that delivered a vibrant wine with 12% alcohol and incredible parameters of freshness and acidity (pH 2.99 and 7.2 grams of acidity). It was bottled after 10 months in French oak barrels. It has less fruit and more texture, a lower alcohol content and is much more austere and serious. It has depth and concentration with freshness and elegance. It is precise and acidic and has a strong, salty finish. It is an amazing Mediterranean white wine, surpassing the already incredible 2018. 3,000 bottles produced".
